Twickr Community Guidelines

Twickr is built to help people share ideas, connect with communities,
discover content, and express themselves freely and safely.
These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed on Twickr.
They apply to all users, posts, comments, messages, usernames, profiles,
groups, communities, media uploads, and platform interactions.
Violations of these Guidelines may result in content removal,
reduced visibility, feature restrictions, temporary suspension,
or permanent account termination.
1. Be Respectful
Treat others with dignity and respect.
Healthy disagreement is allowed, but personal attacks and abuse are not.
Do not:
- Harass or intimidate others.
- Threaten violence.
- Encourage self-harm.
- Repeatedly target individuals.
- Coordinate harassment campaigns.
- Use Twickr to bully others.
2. No Hate Speech
Twickr does not allow content that promotes hatred, violence,
dehumanization, exclusion, or discrimination against people based on
protected characteristics.

- Nationality
- Religion
- Disability
- Gender
- Gender identity
- Sexual orientation
- Age
Content attacking people because of these characteristics may be removed.
3. Violence & Criminal Activity
Do not use Twickr to promote, glorify, organize, or encourage violence.
Prohibited content includes:
- Violent threats.
- Terrorist propaganda.
- Extremist recruitment.
- Murder or assault promotion.
- Instructions for violent attacks.
- Criminal conspiracies.
4. Child Safety
Protecting children is one of Twickr's highest priorities.
Any content involving child sexual exploitation, grooming,
abuse, or endangerment is strictly prohibited and may be reported
to appropriate authorities where required by law.
Accounts involved in such activity will be permanently removed.
5. Adult Content
Pornographic content, explicit sexual activity,
nudity, and sexually exploitative content are prohibited.
Sexually suggestive or inappropriate content is also prohibited.
Limited discussion of sexuality, health, education,
or artistic topics may be allowed where appropriate.
6. Spam & Platform Manipulation
Do not manipulate platform systems or artificially increase visibility.
Examples include:
- Fake engagement.
- Bot networks.
- Mass account creation.
- Artificial follower inflation.
- Engagement farms.
- Automated spam posting.
7. False & Misleading Information
Users should share information responsibly.
Twickr may limit, label, reduce distribution of, or remove content
that creates significant risks of real-world harm through deception
or misinformation.
Examples may include:
- Election interference.
- Medical misinformation.
- Public safety hoaxes.
- Fraudulent schemes.
- Identity deception.
8. Privacy & Personal Information
Respect the privacy of others.
Do not publish:
- Private phone numbers.
- Government identification documents.
- Financial information.
- Home addresses.
- Private emails without consent.
- Personal information intended to harass.
9. Intellectual Property
Respect copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property rights.
Only upload content you own or have permission to use.
Repeated copyright infringement may result in account termination.
10. SoundBites & Record Label Content
SoundBites allow users to share audio content including music, podcasts,
and other recordings. When uploading audio associated with record labels,
publishers, or rights holders, additional guidelines apply.
Copyright Compliance
Users must ensure they have the legal right to upload and share audio content.
This includes obtaining all necessary licenses, permissions, and authorizations from:
- Record labels
- Publishers
- Performers and artists
- Songwriters and composers
- Producers
- Any other rights holders
Uploading copyrighted audio without authorization is prohibited and may result in:
- Immediate content removal
- Account suspension or termination
- Legal action by rights holders
- Reporting to relevant authorities
Record Label Branding
When including record label icons, logos, or branding in SoundBites:
- You must be authorized to use such branding by the record label.
- Branding must be used accurately and consistently with brand guidelines.
- Branding must not mislead users about source, sponsorship, or endorsement.
- You must not impersonate or falsely represent affiliation with any record label.
Attribution & Metadata
When uploading audio content, provide accurate and complete metadata including:
- Artist names
- Record label information
- Songwriter credits
- Publisher details
- Original source information
Misleading or incomplete metadata is prohibited and may result in content removal.
Unauthorized Distribution
Do not use SoundBites to:
- Distribute leaked or unreleased music
- Share promotional content without authorization
- Circumvent digital rights management (DRM) or content protection
- Share audio intended for exclusive or limited distribution
11. Verification & Identity
Twickr offers a voluntary identity verification program that allows users to request a verification badge to confirm their authenticity and build trust within the community.
Verification Process
The verification process works as follows:
- Users may voluntarily submit a verification request through the designated verification screen
- Verification requires submission of government-issued identification documents
- Users must provide their full legal name, date of birth, and identification number
- A selfie photograph may be required for identity confirmation
- All verification requests are reviewed by authorized Twickr administrators
- Administrators may approve or reject verification requests based on the provided documentation
- Approved users receive a verification badge displayed on their profile and across the platform
- Rejected users receive a notification with the reason for rejection
Verification Data Collection and Use
When you participate in verification, Twickr may process:
- Government ID documents (national ID, passport, driver's license) for identity verification
- Personal identification information (full name, date of birth, ID number) for age and identity verification
- Photographs of ID documents and selfies for identity confirmation
- All verification data is stored securely in Firebase Storage with encryption
- Verification data is only accessible to authorized administrators with admin privileges
- Verification documents are deleted immediately after the verification review is complete
- Verification metadata (approval status, timestamps) may be retained for audit purposes
- Verification data is never shared with other users or third parties except as required by law
- Verification data is never used for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes
User Rights Regarding Verification
You retain the following rights regarding your verification data:
- Participation in verification is voluntary and optional
- You may withdraw your verification request at any time before review
- You may request deletion of your verification data at any time
- You may request access to what verification data Twickr holds about you
- Verification data will be permanently deleted upon account deletion
- You may request correction of inaccurate verification data
Prohibited Activities Related to Verification
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Submitting false, forged, or altered identification documents
- Submitting identification documents belonging to another person
- Misrepresenting your identity or personal information
- Attempting to bribe or influence verification administrators
- Creating multiple verification requests with conflicting information
- Using stolen or fraudulently obtained identification documents
- Impersonating another person to obtain verification
Verification Violations
Submitting false documentation or attempting fraud during verification may result in:
- Immediate rejection of the verification request
- Permanent ineligibility for verification
- Account suspension or termination
- Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities where applicable
- Legal action for identity fraud or document forgery
Verification Badge Display
The verification badge displayed next to verified usernames:
- Indicates that the user has successfully completed identity verification
- Does not imply endorsement of the user's content or behavior
- Verified users remain subject to all Community Guidelines and Terms of Service
- Twickr may revoke verification badges for violations of platform policies or Terms of Service
- Verification status is displayed in real-time and updates immediately upon approval or revocation
12. Authenticity
Users should represent themselves honestly.
Do not:
- Impersonate people.
- Create deceptive accounts.
- Mislead users about identity.
- Pretend to represent organizations without authorization.
13. Anonymous Content & Identity Protection

Anonymous usage does not exempt you from legal responsibility for your actions,
content, or communications.

Twickr retains the right to log, store, and internally associate all platform
activity with backend identifiers for safety, moderation, fraud prevention,
and legal compliance purposes.

Anonymous content may still be traced, investigated, or linked to an account
in cases of abuse, harassment, illegal conduct, or credible safety threats.

Twickr reserves the right to de-anonymize user activity when required to comply
with applicable laws, regulatory obligations, court orders, or legitimate
safety investigations.

Any attempt to misuse anonymity features to harass, deceive, impersonate,
defraud, or evade enforcement mechanisms constitutes a material violation
of these Guidelines and may result in immediate suspension or permanent
termination.

Users acknowledge that anonymity is a platform feature for expression and
convenience only, and does not create any legal expectation of privacy beyond
what is required by applicable data protection laws.
Twickr maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward abuse of anonymous systems.
All such systems are monitored using automated and manual review mechanisms
to ensure compliance with platform integrity, user safety, and legal obligations.
13. Reporting Violations
Users can report content, messages, groups, comments,
or accounts believed to violate these Guidelines.
Reports help Twickr maintain a safer platform for everyone.
14. Enforcement Actions
Depending on severity and history, Twickr may:
- Remove content.
- Reduce content visibility.
- Issue warnings.
- Disable features.
- Suspend accounts.
- Permanently ban accounts.
- Cooperate with law enforcement when required.
15. Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error,
you may contact Twickr support and request review.
Not all decisions are eligible for appeal.
